I'm tired of seeing all the stamps against the orphan works bill...
The bill says "The Copyright Office seeks to examine the issues raised by “orphan works,” i.e., copyrighted works whose owners are difficult or even impossible to locate."
Here on dA this would be illegal because you can be located...gotta go to school

I think it was ment to stop missing artists from owning art forever. like what is the point if the artist cannot truely be found or is dead?
Just like there are laws against perpetuities to stop dead people from owning property forever.
But enrichment of the public domain is not a bad thing though.
